My entire career has been laser focused on the sales of specialty gases and related distribution equipment globally. I treat my sales territory as a franchise, taking ownership for creating demand and cultivating prospects into long-term repeat clients which spanned from bio-tech, pharmaceutical, universities, crime laboratories to current day semi-conductor and Nano-technologies. I consistently performed and exceeded my sales goals over my career. I am not afraid of taking risks and joined a small specialty gas company in Irvington, NJ which only had 3 million in sales yet had a focus on the newest industry applications for the excimer lasers and lighting. Over two decades I expanded the equipment sales which grew in aggregate sales of 45 million in revenue. Spectra Gases perfected the gases and gas mixtures to maximize the laser performance for the Lasik eye procedure market. The market grew through the FDA approval of the Excimer laser process. Not only did I learn the new segment such as photo lithography for the excimer based stepper tools, I expanded their business model into the lighting market using Xeon, Krypton, and Neon gas. Since some of the gases were toxic and corrosive which needed specialty gas equipment for safety. I effectively not only sold gas but worked various channels to sell equipment to these new markets such as bio tech, Nano-tech, semi-conductor, and crime labs. By working with architects, lab planners and engineers, I secured this new market through deep experience and applied this intimate knowledge of local building codes as related to the gas industry for new buildings and lab expansions. I am an industry consultant selling Total Integrated Specialty Gas Systems. My next step in my career is to join a professional company to build out new gas markets with the potential to sell advanced integrated gas systems.
