Extensive knowledge in construction. Fifteen years of sales and management experience. My responsibilities as a claims adjuster include conducting prompt and thorough investigations, evaluating facts, interpreting laws and regulations, and rendering determinations, including compensability and medical determinations. Consulting with accountants, architects, construction workers, engineers, and lawyers in the evaluation of a claim. Continuously analyzing case facts and monitoring activities in order to identify possible fraud and/or abuse, and/or third party liability throughout the course of the claim. Reviewing photographs and written or audiotaped statements. Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Negotiating with the claimant to settle the claim. Responsible for handling claims for multiple insurance companies, including Hartford Insurance Co, USAA, TWIA, LMAC, Lititz Insurance, CNA, Lloyds of London, State Auto Insurance, UPC, Holchheim Prairie, Maison, Glatfelter, Safeco, ASI, Fidelity, Zurich, ARI, ANPAC, Lighthouse and various other residential and commercial insurance companies.
