In a career spanning 47+ years, John is a successful banker, finance officer and business owner with a proven track in business funding and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) roles. John has analysed business performance and preparing Information Memorandums for a wide range of companies from agriculture, oil and gas, banking, manufacturing, retail, construction and property ranging in size from new private companies through to multi-national corporations. Some of the results John has helped his clients to achieve include- As CFO, Implemented business systems, finance training and funding facilities at agricultural merchandising company, AGnVET. This set the foundation for profitability and turnover to increase over 4 times over next 10 years - Completed business plan and attained equity funding for a large trailer manufacturer which has increased production from 6 to 20 trailers pa and is set for offshore expansion- As CFO, from concept phase assisted with company set-up, business systems and arranged private and institution equity of $12 mil for the development of the new technology which converted domestic waste to soil conditioners - Successfully bid and won government tender for construction and operation of gas pipeline valued at $80 mil, which was then successfully negotiated and sold to institutions - On behalf of a State Bank, over a period of 12 months, analysed and renegotiate a portfolio of 68 default loans through restructuring or exit without exercise of security John commenced his working life as a farmer in Central NSW which taught him to make business decisions, complete homework and resolve problems with limited resources John provides independent CFO services to businesses requiring assistance with their funding.
