About John Colcolough

With a career that now spans four decades and five market cycles, John brings over 32 years of experience to Wells Fargo Advisors. Upon graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, he began his professional career in the financial services business in 1985. His practice focuses primarily on High-Net-Worth Individual Clients, and their Families. From 2013-2024, John has been named as one of the Platinum Council Advisors. He is the past Chair of the Board of Trustees for Presbyterian Day School, the largest independent boy’s elementary school in the country, a past Board Member of Street Ministries, and currently serves as an Elder at Second Presbyterian Church. A longtime resident of Memphis, John and his wife, Lisa, have identical twin girls, Caitlin and Cameron, and a son, Britt. Away from the office, he enjoys hunting, fishing, sporting events, and traveling.
