About John Cole

As a self-taught developer, I have a great passion for software development and the architecting of technical systems. I started my journey by building a website and database for my own rental business, and since then I have accumulated experience in a wide variety of working environments and projects. Currently, I am a Mobile Application Developer at TravelIT, where I have a diverse set of full-stack responsibilities and tasks in a.NET environment. My main focus and work has been centered on the company's mobile app, for which I have built multiple new features and performed support, such as building a push notification service and an image recognition service to capture and process financial information. I have also done front-end web development, database work and improvements, and built back-end APIs. I have used Xamarin, MAUI, Kotlin, and many other technologies to deliver high-quality solutions that met the needs and expectations of the various users and clients I have had over the years. I am able to smoothly and quickly adapt to any new technologies and problems thrown at me, and I have a very high level of determination in the face of difficulties. I enjoy collaborating with my team and learning from them, as well as sharing my knowledge and skills. I am always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities to grow and improve as a developer.
