Current NHS Role: March 2021: Programme Director - Service Transformation & Redesign.Leading and directing a significant Service Transformation and Redesign Programme of work and associated teams and governance forums, that will deliver a significant programme of “Service Transformation and Redesign within NHS National Services Scotland, in Practitioner and Counter Fraud Services (P & CFS) business unit.This will also impact of how P & CFS deliver the services and engagement with all the key customers, including NHS Scotland, Scottish Government and the wider public sector. The programme will deliver large scale complex change programmes that will achieve not only transformational change in the Strategic Business Support Unit but also transformational change to external customers and sponsors, making their experience more efficient, effective and easier. The role of the Associate Director of Service Transformation will be to provide strong, dynamic leadership and relentless drive in the provision of a programme of work to transform Practitioner and Counter Fraud Services (P & CFS) and its related services, and is responsible for the design and implementation of a strategic transformation portfolio programme that will deliver ‘quick-wins’ to build momentum. A key focus on will be on ensuring medium to long-term priorities that require up-front investment to deliver value and drive potential financial savings in line with strategic objectives and delivery of the agreed business and financial plans.This role will need to influence multiple stakeholders and develop effective working relationships with senior leaders, across NHS NSS and NHS Scotland, Scottish Government and the wider public sector. Working with external customers to understand and re-configure current services to facilitate and include the need for change in national strategies, as well as NHS NSS, ensuring that the Service Transformation and Redesign Programme delivers effective services in line with NHS Scotland priorities and outcomes across Health and Social Care.
