Mr. Corbett’s background includes real estate development and finance, having served as the managing partner in several companies and partnerships in South Florida since the late 1970’s. He has been very active in the business community in Palm Beach County, having served on numerous boards and committees, including Chair and longtime member of the Palm Beach County Commission on Affordable Housing, Chair of the Palm Beach County Local Planning Agency for 10 years, and longtime member of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County that he Chaired in 2004 during the site selection for the Scripps Research Institute project. Mr. Corbett is President and CEO of The Partnership, Inc.(TPI), a non-profit charitable organization he formed in 1995. In his role as President and CEO of TPI, Corbett has overseen substantial growth of the company’s presence in Florida and Georgia in recent years. TPI’s mission is to serve low and moderate income households through its ownership and management of affordable apartment properties and related services. TPI’s commitment to excellence in affordable housing has proven TPI’s value to its public and private partners in the preservation of affordable housing for low and moderate income households.
