As an Information Technology professional I have significant experience in IT and held numerous technical and leadership positions. I have worked in health insurance, software, IT consulting, credit card, retail, state government, sales, and commercial banking industries. Some noteworthy accomplishments include- First to implement Data Ops technology by Delphix within UHG generating $2.5M savings annually by increasing development velocity, reducing infrastructure cost, improving software quality, while creating a foundation for CI/CD automation- Partnered to deliver the largest Security program in UHG history while minimizing impact to the UnitedHealthcare businesses- Leadership and end to end ownership of strategic capacity planning and implementation for the fastest growing claims system at UnitedHealth Group, Facets(CSP)- Over 30% improvement in application stability for the UnitedHealthcare Community & State suite of applications while also seeing a 10% increase in proactive detection and resolution of IT incidents in 2012- Leading the engineering and building of a claims system targeted to be the largest TriZetto Facets health care system in the world- Vendor relationship building, leading to best license price in company history and completed remediation of ten+ year old license contracts- Doubled the size of the Sybase DBA team and maintained 100% platform availability in 2010 and availability in 2011! Drove Oracle Rdb platform stability to 100% in 2010 & 2011- Assisted in building the Rdb DBA/eBusiness team and provided leadership for projects involving; moving 600+ servers from St. Louis to Eagan data center, complete software upgrades, re-platform front-end servers, role based security for accounts, TSM backups, new SAN arrays, and another data center migration from Eagan to Elk River data center- Generated $2.5 million in revenue within 3 months delivering packaged server solutions- Passed SAS70 Level 2 audit by rebuilding the entire infrastructure including workstations, servers, active directory, co-locating to new data center, while also training IT staff members- Created Human Resources system saving an estimated $100k per year.
