Founder of the J.D. White P.L.A.Y. Foundation, a non-profit organization targeting under privileged youth locally, nationally, and internationally. Influential Mentor and Motivational Speaker in the Detroit Metropolitan area and Nationally. John has a passion to see youth developed as effective leaders in the community, as well as world wide. John's a former professional basketball player that played in Australia, Mexico, Midwestern Basketball Association, Continental Basketball Association, and the NBA-Development League. He's a successful high school basketball coach at Southfield Christian High School, with the annate ability to hone players skill set to develop a dynamic program, while helping them reach their full potential. John's an ordained Minister at King of Kings International in Taylor, MI, where he serves as an Associate Pastor. He's a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where he earned his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Technology. John is an Award Winning Author of The Black Athlete, an Urban FIction Novel depicting the struggles of an inner city African-American athlete. He adores his beautiful wife Joselyn, and their beautiful son Israel.
