This role blends my passion for technology with a commitment to helping businesses succeed. My Journey My story began in Baghdad, Iraq, where I was born into a Christian family. My father served in the military, and my mother was a homemaker. After the US war in 2003, my family and I were forced to leave due to political and religious circumstances. In 2008, we moved to Lebanon and then immigrated to the United States in 2010. Adapting to a new country was challenging, especially with the language barrier. Determined to master English, I immersed myself in learning through study and volunteer opportunities at the YMCA. These experiences accelerated my language acquisition and fostered a deep commitment to personal growth. Career Path My professional journey began with volunteering at the YMCA in 2011. I transitioned from a volunteer to a part-time front desk position and, within a year, secured a full-time role. After a year and a half, I was promoted to sales. Within my first year in sales, I became the top sales advisor for the 4th quarter at the YMCA of Greater Twin Cities. In 2015, I ventured into entrepreneurship, investing in real estate. I bought, rehabbed, and sold multiple properties. I then discovered a passion for the financial industry, particularly life insurance. I recruited and trained new agents, helping families secure their futures with life insurance. Running my own business provided invaluable experience and honed my public speaking skills. I have delivered keynotes on gratitude, capitalism, and free enterprise to audiences ranging from small groups to large gatherings of over attendees. Joining Apple In late 2018, a visit to the Apple Store to fix my iPhone reignited my long-held dream of working for Apple. Despite the initial language barriers when I first arrived in the US, I applied for a part-time position while continuing to run my business on the side. Just before the pandemic, I was offered a full-time role. After gaining experience in various in-store positions, I was promoted to Business Expert, where I now support small and medium-sized businesses in adopting Apple technology. Living the American Dream My life has transformed from living in the Middle East to now residing in the greatest country in the world. Here, I am living my American dream, enjoying the freedoms of speech, religion, and the right to be free. Heaven on.
