As an innovative senior citizen executive with 20+ years of experience, I have managed and successfully guided teams in all phases of in excess of 150 million-dollar programs in both the federal and private sectors. Drawing on big-picture thinking and a 360-degree view of operations, I set strategic goals and steer business decisions from bid through contract closeout. I harness a diverse engineering and product development background to pivot direction and meet evolving customer needs, including for Department of Defense and international programs. Through thought leadership and hands-on guidance, I drive on-time, within-budget delivery of solutions that meet performance goals, fulfill mission-critical objectives, and fuel revenue growth. On track to earn a Master of Business Administration in 2024. Key Accomplishments • At Volanno, manage $60M technical program and projects portfolio, leading 11 direct reports (with up to 60-member team) to deliver on software development and analytical application projects in the aviation, rail, and transit markets. • Introduced a monthly meeting for program and project managers, which provides forums for validating best practices, mentoring junior staff, and uniting teams from different market segments. • Within 30 days of hire, pioneered and led implementation of a 3-phase plan to improve Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) evaluation. Elevated CPARS rating of company’s largest program from “Very Good” to “Exceptional” and achieved exceptional accolades on 3 additional write-in statements within 18 months. • For Thales Avionics, established a $45M autonomous group, a 15-member engineering team, and Agile management methodologies for development and commercialization of a head-worn heads-up display for pilots.
