About John Depasquale

30 years of experience in Sales and Leadership roles.I started my career in Sysco’s customer service department in 1993, right out of college and joined the Sales team as a Marketing Associate in the field the following year. I worked in Street Sales for 7 years culminating with winning Sysco’s corporate torchbearer award for top sales performance.In I moved into a new role as a District Sales Manager in Syracuse and led a small district of 5 to become a district of 10 members. We grew our sales from 7 Million to over 25 million in 5 years. In 2005, I was promoted again to Regional Manager and now managed 7 districts with 90 employees with an annual sales budget of 125 million dollars. I performed this job for both our East and our West Regions from 2005 until 2013.In 2013, I was promoted again to Vice President of Sales where I led a sales organization of 150 total members including the customer service department, Local, Street and Multi Unit sales. I have been responsible for the sales growth of a 600 million dollar annual sales plan with over local customers across New York State as well as the development and leadership of our many managers and sales associates.In 2018, I began leading our Sales team in the corporate contract area focusing on National Restaurant Chains as well as Hospital, University and Government business. My years of experience have served me well to take on this new and exciting challenge and I am looking forward to continued learning and team success.In 2020, I took on additional responsibility for National Sales at Sysco Albany as well as my current leadership role for National Sales at Sysco Syracuse. Our joint department now oversees all contract / national sales for the entire Upstate New York region which includes New York State, Vermont as well as Western Massachusetts, Northern Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey. Most importantly, I am the proud dad of two awesome girls - One at the University of Georgia and One at the University of Rhode Island.
