About John Desay
I am an award winning editor based in Dublin, Ireland. I have been the head editor and colorist on a number of productions over the years including feature films, documentaries, short films and music videos. In 2015 I received the award for Best Editing in a Documentary at the St. Tropez Film Festival for my work on ‘Ladies of Science-The Extraordinary Story of Mary Rosse and Mary Ward’. My other credits include the 2020 feature film ‘Broken Law’ from Break Out Pictures which made its Netflix debut in January 2021, the multi-award winning short film 'Ciúnas'(2019), and the upcoming short film 'Harvest'(2021). At present I am employed at eir Sport, Ireland’s Premium Sports Channel, as a full time editor, colorist and motion graphics designer. I am part of a production team that deliver high quality sports packages and highlights programming that include the Guinness Pro14 and Allianz Leagues among many others.
