John Devitt is the founder and CEO of Recovery4life, a highly disruptive, multi-disciplinary specialist Occupational Health provider, offering employers a comprehensive range of services addressing work-place physical/mental health, addiction and social functioning. Based in the North-East of England Recovery4life operates across the UK and is currently establishing its services in the US to help employers address the opiate and mental health crisis. Recognising that all employers are increasingly faced with these issues, Recovery4life’s role is to address the immediate problem and work with the employer to develop proactive Wellbeing strategies -prevention being better than cure. As our client we can best support you by integrating a range of physical health, mental health, and risk management services into one workplace health and wellbeing programme. Providing a faster, more tailored, and more proactive occupational health service. An experienced leader, John has had a varied and successful career and has experience in working in a range of sectors and environments. These include, International Development (The British Council), Enterprise (PNE Group) and Substance Misuse and Primary Care (Counted4). He is passionate about helping employers manage risks caused by ill-health in a supportive and proactive way – balancing the needs of employers with those of their people. John is keen to work with like-minded people to re-frame the importance of Health & Wellbeing as a key pillar of workplace risk-management and is keen to learn and share in this developing agenda.
