An experienced, Infrastructure Engineer. During my 8 years in the Royal Corps of Signals I have worked on various types of communications equipment to a high level. This includes Satellite Communication systems, Windows based servers, Active directory and Cisco routers and switches, to name a few. I have worked in extremely high pressure environments at a fast tempo both home and abroad. I have worked independently and also as part of a team. I have experience in managing a small team, either as a Detachment Commander or as a shift commander on a Service Desk, for example. I have deployed to Afghanistan several times and worked alongside a civilian company, Prolinx, on a project which consisted of upgrading all of the Heavy Base ISTAR systems within theatre. My objective is to use this experience and knowledge to become a highly competent Information Systems Engineer.
