About John Dipilato

I am a Class A PGA Golf Professional at Old Oaks Country Club in Purchase NY. I have also completed all of my academic requirements in order to obtain my Business Degree in Marketing from Coastal Carolina University. Although I am young, I have had many years of experience in and around the golf business. I plan to one day become a Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf at a golf club in New York (Metropolitan Section). Working at a golf course for roughly 6 years has taught me the necessary skills needed in order to become a successful golf professional and an asset to any golf facility that I am affiliated with. Not only do I have a lot of experience with the business part of golf I also have tons of playing experience. Participating in High School, local tournaments and in college, I feel as though I can also compete at a very high level. Specialties: I currently hold a 0.0 (scratch) USGA handicap and am able to use many golf software programs. I have a very good knowledge of all aspects of the golf industry which I believe will put me ahead of others like me pursuing a career in golf. I have experience with customer service and running adult and junior clinics. Tournament Operations is also something that I have had experience with, both from my internships and holding the Tournament Director title during my senior year of college. I have completed the certification process in order to become a KBS Shaft Fitter and EyeLine Golf Teacher.
