Diverse: adjective di·verse \ dī-ˈvərs, 1 : differing from one another : unlike people with diverse interests 2 : composed of distinct or unlike elements or qualities a diverse population You're probably wondering why I began my summary with the Merriam-Webster definition of the word 'diverse', while I'm sitting here wondering how I could not begin a summary of my professional career without the definition of the word diverse. I've done a little bit everything in my short time so far on this planet. I raised market animals competitively for profit for a little over a decade to help pay my way through college. I maintained the greens on one of the top three public golf courses in the country. Building oilfield locations in the thriving San Juan Basin consumed the following summer. The next several years would be filled with the likes of retail sales in multiple industries, and hospitality experience as a restaurant server, to an Internship with a top three company in the cheese and nutrition manufacturing industry. As you can see, my professional career has been made up by a little bit of everything. That is why I began this summary with definition for diverse; there is no better way to describe my experience. This diversity has made me the successful individual I am today, comprised of qualities, characteristics, and achievements from a variety of backgrounds. My father jokes that my greatest achievement is "He crammed a four-year degree into only five years!" However with my bachelors degree in Business Administration in the books, it is time for me see what new adventures are out there and continue my professional career with whatever may come next.
