About John Doehler

John has been a leader in the Ad Tech space for many years. He started the first ad tech organization at AT & T in 2007 with the launch of linear advertising on U-Verse. He provided the technology to enable U-Verse to grow ad revenue from $0 in 2007 to over $750M in 2015. He led the Ad Tech workstream during the acquisition and integration of DirecTV in 2015 and led the Ad Tech workstream during the acquisition of Warner Media in 2017. John joined Xandr in 2018 and led the technology efforts to integrate the Media team into the overall Xandr converged platform. Throughout his journey, John has made an extraordinary impact with a “business first” mindset. Today, he leads the Media Ad Tech team that supports a $1.7B advertising business at DirecTV. His team supports the largest addressable TV platform in the industry that consistently delivers year-over-year revenue growth. John is an experienced, versatile executive with a consistent track record of creating and managing Technology solutions to achieve business goals. Strengths include developing innovative solutions to complex business problems, managing the competing priorities across multiple product teams, and building alignment to a common goal among all stakeholders.
