Currently a Board member for two family-owned, international businesses. Capacity for other Board or advisory roles, particularly for globally active industrial / manufacturing companies. Spend extensive time working in Europe—a week per month—so can easily take on roles with European-based companies. Offer a consulting practice advising US and European Company Boards on M&A and other key business issues with a significant legal component. Have also advised professional service firms looking to improve their global footprint. Until 2014, was an international M&A Partner at one of the world’s leading law firms. In various management roles, helped create and implement strategies to grow what has become one of the leading brands in the M&A world. In a client advisory role led hundreds of M&A deals and guided clients through virtually every challenge faced by globally active businesses. At home in multi-cultural environments, having had extensive experience of living/working outside the US, for example London, Brussels and Hong Kong.
