About John Dustin

As a Radiation Therapist at Saint Francis Hospital, I have years of experience in the field of radiation oncology, providing excellent patient care and ensuring safety and accuracy in the delivery of radiation therapy. I am certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a RT(T) and have advanced training in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), a hypo-fractionation process that uses a highly precise and effective technique for treating tumors in various parts of the body.In my previous roles at Saint Francis, I also demonstrated leadership and management abilities, overseeing the daily operations, budgets, contracts, procurement, and equipment installation in the radiation oncology department. I was involved in the facility planning and workflow design for the radiation oncology center, which increased the capacity and efficiency of the service. Additionally, I mentored and trained radiation therapy students, therapists, and managers, sharing my knowledge and expertise with the next generation of professionals. My mission is to contribute to the advancement of radiation therapy and the improvement of patient outcomes and satisfaction. I am on the Alter Guild at my church and volunteer at church functions. I donate food to people in need.
