About John Eaton

With decades of leadership experience across all conceivable business sectors and a proven record of success, I facilitate essential change in both business and people. Through effective mentoring I have developed directors and managers in many diverse organisations at the most senior level, giving me a unique appreciation of people within business. After 10 years in the army, I began my business career. Rising through Regional Manager to Director roles, I sat on the main board of a well-known PLC. With a passion for leadership, I went on to become Course Director at The Leadership Trust and then created and developed my own people-development businesses, delivering uniquely effective programmes on Managing People to Managing Change to more than clients over 15 years. I use my 35+ years’ experience in mentoring and coaching to transform operations and relationships alike. Mentoring for Leaders - Elevating Individual Performance An independent enabler, I provide one-to-one business mentoring to business owners, CEOs, Directors of Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Operations and other senior and key managers in SME’s, not-for-profit and corporate organisations. I help leaders to overcome the isolation of specialist positions and develop the gravitas required to handle situations at a senior level. Mentoring for Teams - Developing High-Performing Working Teams Using my experience in corporate environments, I cultivate strong relationships with Board Groups, Senior and Key managers to identify areas for greater collaboration and cooperation. By breaking down barriers, I can encourage communication and cooperation through clarity of perspective. I nurture individuals to help them see alternative points of view and identify how their individual strengths can help the entire senior team achieve their objectives. Fascinated by people, I take the time to learn about companies and the individuals involved, to ask the right questions to understand the issues and find clarity on the way forwards.
