Excellent communication, project management and technical skills. I have worked on a varied portfolio of construction projects including Commercial, Residential, Education, Retail and Healthcare. I have worked on projects from the design phase, through to handover and managed the defects period. During these projects I have managed all levels of stake holders from Clients to End Users. I have worked on projects up to the value of £100m and been number one on site for projects to the value of £22m. I drive my projects with passion and every task is delivered ensuring, • Safety • Quality • Programme • Budget I will do this by making sure we plan, coordinate, and communicate at every level to deliver to the client’s expectations. Involvement at all levels on site delivers pride and quality. Making this happen from the site team to the supply chain to the operatives on site is fundamental. Continued professional development is also important to me, I am currently completing the Professional Review process for membership of the Chartered Institute of Builders and MCIOB status. My long-term ambition is to attain a senior management role and continue delivery of quality projects. Key roles and responsibilities • Build, manage, develop and mentor the project team. • Producing project reports for issues to clients on a weekly and monthly basis and to report on project progress and performance. • Guiding the development of project strategic programmes and monitoring progress. • Managing client, internal and external design teams. • Supporting all onsite quality control, coordination of benchmarks and liaison with the construction supervisors. • Aiding in the day-to-day liaison with relevant authorities. • Appointment of Subcontractors and ensuring full understanding of all the scopes. • Reviewing Subcontractors method statements/risk assessments. • Agreeing short-term programmes with the Subcontractor. • Assessing Subcontractors’ monthly applications for payment. • Attending off-site inspections as needed. Agreeing in Final quality inspections with material suppliers. • Supplying input information to the electronic document management system and to other project control systems. • Supporting the quantity surveyor with project information. Managing the project functions and all commercial aspects of the project.
