About John Elengical

I am confident Design can play a major role in generating economic and social value for any company or society. However, to have an optimal impact, companies need to identify their individual design solutions and design quality. Done right, this exceeds the common understanding of design “just making things pretty”. As a strategic designer I align expectations and qualitative claims of interdisciplinary design- and development teams towards the overarching business objectives. My goal is to set an optimal ground for successful products and allow design and brand strategy to unfold its full potential. As interdisciplinary mediator I support stakeholders from all disciplines in product development to meet at eye-level and sort out the best possible decisions for any individual product. Due to my studies in industrial design, I was trained in design thinking from the very beginning. I am a constant advocate for human and user centricity with always having an eye on feasibility and costs but also the business case as such. Always striving for amazing products, which benefit from clearly differentiating on the market by quality, functionality, and appeal.
