About John Eli Garay

We live in a world where stress and overwhelm are normalized and expected. Because of this, many people neglect their needs at the expense of satisfying the expectations of others. This is a common trait found in people whose careers are centered on helping others (health care professionals, educators, social workers, caretakers, etc). Nevertheless, there comes a time when such persons must choose whether they will continue to remain trapped by their state of being or whether they will seek help to rise above it. It is my hope to support people who are ready to work towards building a mentally and emotionally resilient life. I use a trauma-informed & integrated approach to help people overcome depression, anxiety, codependency, & life changes. I help people to understand the root cause of their problems & how to use their strengths to create a path toward healing & personal fulfillment. Most importantly, I tailor my approach to meet the needs of each individual client. I understand that the desire to seek help is often accompanied by apprehension. With that in mind, I guarantee to provide a non-judgmental and compassionate space for you to express yourself freely and embrace your version of a thriving life.
