I am a senior Mechatronics student at Michigan Technological University, graduating in December 2025. My journey into engineering began at Kent Career Technical Center in Grand Rapids, MI, where I gained early experience in Engineering Design and Mechatronics. After completing general education at Grand Rapids Community College while working in construction, I transferred to Michigan Tech to pursue Mechatronics, a field that excites me for its integration of computer science, electronics, and mechanical systems. Through co-op and internship experiences in both mechanical and controls engineering, I’ve built a strong foundation in design, PLC/HMI programming, robotics, and industrial automation. These experiences, combined with my coursework, have shaped me into a versatile engineer who thrives in cross-disciplinary projects. I am currently seeking opportunities in automation, controls, or robotics engineering, with availability beginning February 2026.
