For the past 20 years with Dal-Tile my duties have included but not limited to working with and supporting sales reps, dealers, contractors, designers, architects and retail customers at both the Sales Service Centers and Corporate level with product information vital to sales and installation. Aiding customers with product choice from all brands and types using the knowledge gained through many years of experience and the resources available. For the past 13 years my duties for Dal-Tile have included support of the international sales managers in all phases of international export shipments, Coordinating all phases of export shipments both domestic and overseas by working closely with freight forwarding companies and the many internal facets of support throughout the company. Support includes pricing, availability, sampling, placing of orders, securing material, estimating freight costs, creating export documentation, invoicing, and arranging for inspections. My duties over the last 3 years have evolved to supporting National Accounts where my duties included Managing multiple customer accounts providing customers information about pricing and services offered. Quoting formal order requests, creating and processing customer orders in SAP. Answering high volume of customer calls and emails in a timely manner, coordinating with Account manager's and staff, effectively communicating with sales and customer service team members, working with master product planning, inventory and shipping teams to create and facilitate deliveries ensuring customer requirements are met, following up with customers with tracking and additional material orders if needed for the project, assisting in maintaining monthly and annual sales reports, maintaining business relationships with customers focusing on proactive communication and problem solving, maintaining blanket (stock) orders for forecasted customer projects, maintaining customer files for quick and easy reference if needed, providing strong technical support to customer and sales teams and actively & proactively participating in training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
