Engineering Leader. I have a broad range of engineering experience in the manufacturing industry, from establishing/running an engineering organization, to ramping a manufacturing line, to external foundry management, to identifying and resolving customer issues on the final product. My relevant experience includes: · ·Engineering Manager. Established and managed multiple engineering organizations of engineers and technicians that supported several 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing lines. I have led my engineering team to streamline/improve existing production processes and implement new production processes. I have partnered with Maintenance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Business Units to define and achieve site goals including cycle time, yield, cost per unit, quality, and rework rates. Process Manufacturing Engineer. Solid understanding of process control through the extensive use of process baselining through DOE methodology to identify critical process variables. Use of SPC methods to maintain Cpk/Cp process stability. Use of structured DMAIC methods for solving technically difficult issues. · Equipment Engineer. Responsible for selection and installation of processing equipment needed to meet production specifications and requirements. Good understanding of hardware influences on process variation. Established preventative maintenance procedures to ensure process stability. · Lean Green Belt. Completed in house Lean Green Belt certification that included statistical analysis and process mapping techniques to improve unit process efficiency. Responsible for coordinating the green belt training for all of the technical staff on site. Established “lean project register” used to drive and track site cost savings projects and process efficiency improvements. Project Manager. PMP certification awarded in Dec 2010.
