About John Fatoki

My innovative capabilities emerged in June 2017, when I was appointed as payroll consultant at Africa’s largest financial institution, where I invented a wage code (5G15) that mitigated the tax inaccuracies on the SAP Payroll system. Furthermore, I was instrumental in automating Standard Bank's digital HR initiatives (Auto Transfers, Customer Submissions Portal and the TED chat bot project) and slashed turnaround time for payroll remittances by 3 working days through digitization. As a former Secretary to the Bank's Internal Financial Control Forum, I evaluated financial reporting systems and made recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, and other financial control functions to senior and executive management By my passion for business analytics and responsibility as rewards, compensation and analytics consultant, I developed and presented over 200 high-quality analytics reports within one year to Management, to provide a comprehensive basis for decision-making and improved recommendations. My excellence in stakeholder management enabled me to foster employee relations within the People and Culture (P&C) community by using the football analogy to publish over 200 weekly Team Talk publications that were disseminated by the Head of P&C to drive productivity. These publications generated frequent conversations that boosted the team’s productivity and improved P&C’s Employee Net Promoter Score from +36 to +46 (Year on Year 2019). Mastery of my trade has won me several awards including the highest award at Standard Bank Group - 2018 Mark of Excellence Award.
