About John Fay

John is currently working to grow Resilience, Inc. which provides Social Emotional Learning (SEL) tools to help prevent school shootings, improve academic performance, strengthen mental and emotional resilience, and address a slew of social problems. Through John's leadership, the organization grew from 2 staff members to 344 through aggressive recruiting and training. He expanded curriculum distribution to 27 US states, 70 districts and numerous Out of School programs. John launched a Virtual Reality team and helped to create SELENA VR to teach individuals how to overcome fear & anxiety through gaming. The SELENA program grew from inception into John's vision of a comprehensive program offering video lessons, audio exercises, PDF lesson plans, PowerPoints, One to One exercises, quizzes and assessments. He was previously the Director of Corporate Development at Abacode, prior to that he created and developed The Wellness Center family of brands, and helped grow the business from an idea to a multi-location brand name. John’s market intelligence has helped to create original, innovative organizations which have surpassed competitors, disrupted their respective industries, while delivering much needed benefits to the community. Mr. Fay previously served as a General Manager and his experience in leading employees and growing the business, while simultaneously managing advertising, marketing, sales, customer service, recruiting, hiring, training, & operations, serve as valuable insights. He attributes his leadership foundation to the years he served in management for UPS, and to the experience of working in the B2B, B2C and NonProfit arenas.
