Possess in-depth knowledge of base support and information technology funding, maintenance of real property, cost analysis, the POM process, appropriation law, and audit readiness. Present and defend budgets at senior levels within the Department of Defense. Served as a subject matter expert (SME) providing financial requirements ensuring a smooth transition to Navy Reserve systems. Developed a standardized Facilities Cost Structure tailored to MARFORRES Facilities. Developed the solution and participated in writing business rules to manage facilities projects more effectively. Provided leadership and oversight to O&M,NR analysts to achieve or exceed command goals on Budget Productivity Index (BPI) and Financial Efficiency Index (FEI) goals established by Department of Navy Comptroller.
