About John Fritts

John was recently working successfully as an Instructional Designer in Articulate Storyline 360 in the Medical device industry. Successfully conceived and developed more than 15 LMS-packaged, e-learning training courses with competency quizzes. Incorporated graphics, animations, photography and videos, with narration voice-overs to support complex manufacturing processes and operations. John is now gearing up now for a freelance career in instructional design. John has also worked in two different Agile software development environments for a total of 10+ years, including two years as one of several SCRUM Product Owners and so I can apply Agile methodologies to my Instructional Design work. He has written software specifications and requirements, developed user stories, test cases, and written defect reports. He has performed backlog grooming and user story prioritization and helped write SPRINT cycle goals. To formalize his experience and strengthen his resume, John just completed both Agile SCRUM Master and SCRUM Product Owner certifications. Previously he earned a Microsoft MCAD.NET certification. John possesses a diverse background in technical writing and instructional media design, having worked in the software development, computer information systems, aerospace, and semiconductor industries. He has specialized in computer help systems, software documentation, computer-based learning, e-learning and web content management. He has worked as a Content Information Architect, writer and editor in two semiconductor companies. He is a quick-study and a life-long-learner who believes in loyalty to the project and the organization. He is committed to providing value and quality services in all that he does. He often accepts tasks that no one else wants to tackle.
