Specializing in Project Coordination and EHS Programs, mostly related to heavy industrial construction, maintenance and turnaround/shutdown projects within the oil and gas industry, I bring 30 years working of professional expertise in the natural resources, environmental, health and safety and project management fields. I recently expanded my experience to include the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, commercial construction and underground mining sectors. I bring well rounded international project and EHS expertise to organizations in the following areas- Project Management of EH & S System Management and implementation (including program and policy development, implementation and modernizing)- Fulfilling Senior EH & S Leadership roles within producer, consulting, construction and engineering firms- Project Management and Business Development and expansion of a business model into new markets- International experience in project coordination in the oil and gas, commercial construction, Pharmaceutical and food and beverage sectors- Experience in the development of a large scale projects through the various engineering stages- Experience in the field execution of an EH & S Program on large scale heavy industrial construction projects (i.e. 10 billion dollar projects with up to 3,500 craft and contractor workers)- Developing and implementing Constructor Safety Management practices into companies and projects- Liaise and work with large construction contractor companies to implement and manage EH & S challenges on large industrial construction projects- Regulation and legislation interpretation- Negotiations with both government agencies and the general public (through public consultation activities)- Training/instruction of EH & S courses to employees and contractors- Instruction of Not-for-Profit organizations (i.e. Boards of Directors) on corporate governance issues- Serving on several Boards as a Volunteer Director in positions such as Sponsorship or Treasurer.
