About John Galligan

I work as a Cardiologist in Tasmania after completing advanced fellowship training in Melbourne and London. I trained in Cardiac CT and Echocardiography at Monash Hospital before completing a fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital. I then pursued further subspecialty training in London, undertaking fellowships in Adult Congenital Cardiology and Cardiac MRI at the Royal Brompton Hospital. While my primary interests lie in Cardiac Imaging and Congenital Cardiology, I take pride in being a well-rounded General Cardiologist. Through my extensive training and professional network, I ensure that even the most complex cases are approached with expert collaboration when needed.
