With 13 years of graphic design and team leadership experience, I direct teams to develop relevant, creative, and impactful content and I interface daily with clients according to their project requirements. In my current role as Associate Design Director, I manage 5 direct reports and additional teams of copywriters and designers to produce profitable social digital marketing for Fortune 500 companies. As a competent and experienced manager, I inspire collaborative teamwork, top performance, and professional competency. As the Associate Design Director, I routinely lead my creative teams to conceptualize and develop compelling marketing campaigns, providing them with feedback and guidance to align their design concepts with client storylines. I build strong client relationships, communicating and justifying design choices and problem solving for customer satisfaction. I bring my design expertise, creativity, and visionary leadership to every project and team meeting. Therefore, I consistently deliver revenue-generating results. As a result, I was awarded the Shutterstock’s national Pixels of Fury Award in 2015. When I started out in the graphic design industry, I hustled as a Junior Designer to create effective website content, quickly promoting to Designer. In addition to employing creative design skills to craft visually appealing website solutions, I collaborated with coders, UX, and other design team members to complete projects, assuming more complex responsibilities. It was during this time that I won the South by Southwest People’s Choice Award from Americans Elect website. From Designer, I advanced to Senior Designer and then to Associate Design Director where I apply my leadership skills, team management, commitment to excellence, and track record of producing timely, creative, and relevant design content.
