About John Gaskin

For nearly three decades, John has been a leader in the commercial real estate industry and possesses deep experience in all facets of development transactions from site selection and zoning to design and construction to government relations and economic incentives. As General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Development for Duke Realty Corporation, John led the acquisition and development of logistics parks at major U.S. seaports and also created and implemented expansion plans into national and global markets. Following his time at Duke Realty Corporation, John took on leading roles with American Executive Developers, LLC, and Pure Development. In 2017, he joined Atlanta-based Robinson Weeks Partners as Director of Build-to-Suit Development. Recently completed or awarded build-to-suit projects include facilities for GE Aviation, Regal Beloit, Allstate Insurance Company, BMW and Cummins. During his career, John has participated in more than 100 domestic and global real estate development projects and led over $2 billion of property, portfolio and corporate real estate acquisitions. John is committed to demonstrating the highest degree of ethics and transparency in his professional life. Outside the office, John cherishes time with his two grown children, both now attending colleges in Georgia. A regular volunteer at Atlanta Central Night Men’s Homeless Shelter, John is also an exercise enthusiast and loves to run, practice yoga, kick box, cycle and play on golf and tennis teams. He's an accomplished cook and loves to entertain family and friends.
