About John Gennaro

Hello! About me - I'm a dreamer. I'm never happy with today's success, because I'm much more interested in finding out where the world is going next month or next year. This has weaved its way into my work in sports media. I have dedicated my professional life to finding out where traditional media ends, where new media begins, and how much of that crossover is important for the future. I love what I do. Being able to work with sports and technology, industries that always have an eye towards the influencing aspects of music, television, movies, and internet phenomena, has been a dream come true. Being a leader in my field has allowed me to provide guidance to those just entering it, and that has been one of the more rewarding aspects. While I am a leader, I also truly enjoy discussion and collaboration to spark new and interesting ideas. Away from work, you'll typically find me playing basketball, taking long bike rides to the beach, binge-watching TV shows, searching for the next great band, album, and podcast. That is, when I'm not exploring the local food scene.
