About John Gibbons

As head of the Financial Institutions Group at Fiserv, Inc, I am responsible for the strategic direction and success of our financial institution and fintech clients. Two things guide my work: client service and constant progress. Do I want my clients to reach their goals? Of course — but we’ll always work together to set higher standards. Because in our industry, good client service is listening and setting new goals. Together, we are always evolving. The most wonderful part of my job is putting the scale and power of Fiserv to work for our clients every day. Before joining Fiserv, I worked at financial institutions in global payments and other transaction banking businesses. Earlier in my career, I held leadership positions at global financial institutions in London, Amsterdam and New York. I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut and a triple citizen of the United States, the Republic of Ireland and the U.K, which means some days I like coffee, and some days I prefer tea.
