About John Goddard

I am the Research Development Manager for the Medicines Evaluation Unit, an early phase unit based within the grounds of Wythenshawe Hospital in South Manchester, UK. Now an IQUVIA company. I worked in varied research for the past 15 years mainly in respiratory medicines such as Asthma, COPD, CF, Chronic Cough, IPF, and AAT I also specialise in research projects for Skin Disorders, Kidney Disease, IBD, Hypertension, and Healthy patients. My main responsibilities are, recruitment strategies, patient engagement, organisation of PIC in primary and secondary care. My role is to adhere to ICH GCP guidelines and have a NHS research contract with MFT to approach patients from suitable clinics with consultant approval. I work closely with our extensive medical team and also attend conferences throughout the world to promote the unit in securing future research contracts and defence bids with the BD team.
