About John Goodwin

With 30+ years of biosolids project delivery, operations, and environmental permitting experience, I am one of North America’s leading authorities in delivering sustainable biosolids solutions. I enjoy working with project partners at all levels, including technology suppliers, design engineers and general contractors, to facilitate the design, construction and optimization of complex environmental solutions. My career began as an environmental engineer, then plant manager, with the BioGro Division of Wheelabrator Technologies. Other positions I have occupied over my career include Plant Manager, General Manager, Regional Vice President, General Manager of Engineering and Facilities Development Group, and Vice President of Engineering. Most recently, I had been leading the proactive approach to mitigating PFAS within the biosolids industry via engagement with multiple technology vendors in confirmation of their capabilities and potential integration to existing solutions sets.
