About John Goullee

During four decades as a Civil Engineer, I worked on a range of high value water projects in Africa, the Middle East, and Australia. Whilst I have held a number of positions, my chief area of expertise is contract supervision and the roles I’ve held in that sphere were titled- Resident Engineer, Team Leader or Project Manager I have supervised and project managed the construction of over 1600 kilometres of large diameter pipelines of steel, ductile iron and GRP, a number of water treatment plants, and many pump stations and reservoirs. I have worked both as a Client and a consultant’s representative. I am familiar with FIDIC and the Australian Standards Conditions of Contract and have used these as a basis to resolve contractual claims. In addition to the above, I also have experience in earthworks, claims resolution, tendering, scheduling, measurement, survey, commissioning, community liaison, structural work, environmental approvals and materials testing. Contracts I handled from inception to completion have been successful. I’ve taken over and turned around a number of contracts that were well progressed, but in a bad state as far as schedule, cost and design was concerned. I am resourceful when it comes to problem solving.
