Home estate agents Ltd is now in its 11th year. It was a testing time at first setting up in the worst part of a recession but here we are a decade on and Tamesides Top preforming agent year on year for the past 7 in a row. Here is a brief walk though of my journey to getting were we are today. It wasn’t all plain sailing. 1997 Kirby vacuums sales (Disaster) 60 demos no sales in my first month. Sold the odd one after that but couldn’t afford the petrol to get to the appointments. 1998 Telesales For three months but managed to get out as a rep. I was awful at first but soon learnt my trade. Set up Nova Telecom (Disaster) my Telesales quite the day I went on my own. I went back to old job, tail between my legs after three months. continued as Sales Rep for mobile phones. Thrived off the competition between reps. Set up Interact web design company (Disaster) Turns out I could sell them but we couldn’t build them. Nearly lost my car and house. 2001 - 2003 Kirby Vacuum Sales. With my back against the wall and repossession looming I had to make it work just to keep afloat. 2003 Bridgfords estate agents, negotiator - lister. Listed 10 a week back to back for 9 months.(Quit) 2004 Taylor & wood estate agents. Stalybridge’s top selling agent for 6 years. 2010 in September after almost loosing my home again in the recession, with 5 kids under 4. I set up home estate agents and lived hand to mouth for the first four years. We’ve built a reputation for being straight talking and honest.
