About John Gray

33+ years in manufacturing and process engineering with Various fortune 500 Companies. John Gray began his career with Ford Motor Company as a manufacturing/process engineer within Ford’s Climate Control Division. During this time. he worked on projects in expanding manufacturing capacity, launching new products, and implementing cost reductions that equated to over $6 million in labor and material cost. John worked with Ford’s Global manufacturing facilities to launch new model year initiatives as well as worked on the team to market and sell products to Ford Motor company’s direct competitors. After leaving Ford Motor Company and joining Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a division of Johnson and Johnson. John Gray was instrumental in launching innovative surgical instruments critical to facilitating the movement of extended stay care to outpatient procedures reducing medical cost and getting patients back on their feet and back to work in the least amount of time. In his current role at Delta Faucet Company, John is Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for 4 U.S. manufacturing facilities, one manufacturing facility is Canada and technical support for Delta Faucet Company Asia. While at Delta Faucet Company, John has been a core team member in the construction of the manufacturing facility in Jackson, Tennessee, project manager of the sq ft expansion of its Greensburg Indiana facility, team manufacturing lead within product development launch of hundreds of new products, as well as continuous improvement facilitator to manufacturing and headquarters continuous improvement programs. John’s core belief is in continuous improvement and to challenge norms. This has driven him to be successful throughout his career. John is often heard saying, “I believe innovations and advances within science and technology, partnerships with companies that have demonstrated new and refreshing ideas, and a willingness to challenge traditional standards is the key to future success”. In this quest John has partnered with and purchased equipment from companies in Spain, Italy, Germany, China, and multiple companies within the United States John Gray received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1984.
