About John Griebling

My passion is partnering with talented sales professionals to work with customers to solve their problems, influence product development, win deals and grow the business. With more than 30 years of information systems and communications technology experience, I currently provide global technical sales support for the Itron Grid Management product portfolio and provide technical leadership for Itron 4G/5G (3GPP) Private LTE IoT network (industrial, utility and smart city) initiatives. Since 2001 I have led the technical sales, engineering and implementation of numerous wireless IoT networks across the globe for utility, smart city, oil & gas, mining and industrial automation applications. I led the sales engineering teams at MFS Communications, Level 3 Communications, and ABB Tropos. I have also held executive, management, sales and engineering positions with Aiirmesh Communications, Ricochet Networks, Enron Broadband, Unisys Corporation, Advent Systems, and the U.S. Army Signal Corps. In addition to business operations experience, I have served in both board and advisory board roles. My academic degree is a B.S. in computer science from The Pennsylvania State University, where I also did my graduate work in electrical engineering. Specialties: Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Internet network infrastructure, network system architecture, engineering, design, security, implementation, management and operations.
