About John Grzeda

Architecture, in its overall design scheme to its finest detail, has the ability to interact with our emotions, intellect, and free will; our soul. I take pride in the sensitivity, attention to detail, and quality of my work and strive to design with a critical mindset. With currently 4 years of experience in the architectural and building field, and a recent Masters of Architecture graduate from Laurentian University, I have been involved in over 50 projects ranging from (but not limited to) residential and commercial to federal work. For 3 years I have worked with small, single-run architects/designers where I had the opportunity to gain valuable insights on the whole design process from conceptual to finished construction. At Aspen, due to my multitasking ability, I was able to take on the responsibility of not only designing and creating construction drawings, but also handling administrative, documentation, tracking, and client meeting tasks. My recent successful co-op experience at NORR expanded my experience working collaboratively, being exposed to advanced workflows, having a deeper understanding of construction documentation, specifications, and bidding!
