Currently undertaking further studies in IT having already completed a Certificate IV in Cyber Security. Working on learning as much as possible to join the Cyber field full of knowledge and experience by reading policy frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001 and APRA CPS 234. As well as mastering the ACSC essential eight and the OWASP Top 10 standards. I am preparing to acquire COMPTIA certifications in Network+, Security+ and CySA+ through a training agency by self learning studies and virtual labs including Windows Servers, PFSense, windows machines, linux machines and firewalls. I have completed an apprenticeship and acquired a Certificate in Printing and Graphic Arts with News Corp Australia. My main duties were operating large technological machinery to produce high quality products in large quantities under tight deadlines while monitoring and troubleshooting any mechanical problems. I was with the business for 11 years, transitioning from apprentice to printer to leading hand printer which gave me the responsibility of scheduling production and rostering crew levels while managing and helping to train print operators. I was also elected to be a union delegate with the AMWU which gave me experience with EBA negotiations and dealing with dispute resolutions between workers and upper management. I also played a large part in a collaboration process on a new print center operation which involved numerous meetings to discuss employee numbers, shift rotations and work processes. I am a student member with AISA and hope to expand my network in the Cyber field.
