John Handoll is a competition and regulatory specialist with over 45 years' experience. Based in France, he is looking for fresh opportunities in legal practice and support. He is currently a part-time Senior Adviser, European & Competition Law, to Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, where he was until recently National Practice Head of the firm's Competition practice (with 50+ competition partners and associates). John has published and lectured widely in the area of Competition and EU Law. He has recently published in the area of AI and regulation. He has also featured in a number of rating publications. Amongst other accolades, he has been recognised as a Global Elite Thought Leader by WWL 2024. In addition to India, he has worked in a number of European jurisdictions - notably the UK, Belgium, Italy and Ireland.
