About John Hansel

John is a Videographer/Editor at CrossCountry Mortgage and a freelance video marketer who goes by his brand, JHMOTION. He helps create highly-produced, engaging video content for his clients. He graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Electronic Media Production in 2011. After graduation, he worked as a production assistant at Fox Sports Ohio for a couple of years, along with freelancing with Classic Teleproductions. He then went on to be the Videographer Manager over at WTWH Media for over four years, and then at Kuno Creative for six years, three of which as their Multimedia Services Manager. He specializes in many aspects of video production and marketing, including shooting, editing, motion design, audio, lighting, scriptwriting, producing, video SEO, and more. Some companies that have benefitted from his video work include FreshPet, Hive Brands, Handels Ice Cream, Aramark, Green Circle Growers, Eaton, National Instruments, and more. John currently lives in Medina, OH with his wife and daughter, three cats, is an avid movie watcher, loves homebrewing, as well as honing his video and photo skills any chance he gets.
