Regional Safety & Quality Manager WesTower Communications Purpose: Support and maintain Safety and Quality Programs in all WesTower work locations through a systematic approach of training and site audits. Job Functions: 1. Conduct on-site safety and quality audits to identify possible hazardous and quality deficient situations. Must also implement solutions and follow up with corrective action to employees and sub-contractors as needed if deficiencies are noted. Conduct office audits relating to processes, job files and job closeout packages. Work with the applicable market staff and follow up on corrective action for all site audit deficiencies. Work with colleagues in creating and implementing programs for safety and quality improvement. Create classroom training modules to instruct our employees on safety and quality processes. Serve as a resource for any work process. Serve as a resource for customer specifications across all projects. Assists field personnel in developing procedures to comply with client requirements if needed. Conduct on site visits to work with and train crews in promoting safety and quality. Maintain good communication and working relationship with colleagues. Create relevant bulletins to share at the market level. Serve as a resource to our employees for customer specifications regarding safety, OSHA rules and regulations and WesTower safety and quality policies. Work with the market managers to develop proactive safety initiatives. Conduct and track ongoing in-house training. Sign and issue training certificates/ wallet cards for all training classes 16. Coordinate with OSHA on any site inspections 17. Prepare necessary paperwork for incident and accident reporting.
