Interestingly, my role and devotion as a filmmaker embody every facet of this term.Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I was captivated by the idea of uniting individuals through the arts. Be it through photography, videography, or fine art, my fervor for crafting unforgettable experiences for people and transforming it into a profession has been a lifelong aspiration.Having been raised amidst the oceanic beauty of Newport, Rhode Island, I've sensed a profound connection to the natural world and those who derive their livelihood from it. This fascination fueled a more profound yearning to explore further.In 2015, I made a bold decision. Post-college, scraping together whatever bartending earnings I could, I undertook a road journey from Rhode Island to San Diego, leaving everything and everyone I know behind, aiming to carve out a career in professional media. The road trip itself turned out to be one of the most impactful experiences I've encountered so far, broadening my perspective on the diverse cultures within our own country and revealing the immense beauty lying beyond the confines of my hometown's zip code.Approaching a decade later, having traversed over 30 countries, I affirm that the leap was indeed worthwhile. A significant portion of this success can be attributed to the mindset of embracing risks, even when they appear daunting or overwhelming in the moment.
