I like creating new things and improving old ones. I embrace empathy and trust when consulting, leading, or collaborating with teams. Most of my professional energy goes into software architecture: understanding systems end-to-end and making them work in the real world. Pragmatism is my approach to innovation. I've written code in a lobby minutes before demoing to investors, and I've scrummed teams through months of dev, QA, field testing, and release cycles. Both have their place in real-world engineering, and I'm comfortable with everything in between. I see the world in terms of interfaces and I respect the iteration process. I like to rally teams around a vision — setting priorities, building momentum, and encouraging others to “join the cause” as we hit meaningful waypoints together.
